She
is responsible for developing the innovative Creative
Web Method - a set of strategies, which can be applied to the
management of a social and physical environment to promote creative
and innovative outcomes in a variety of settings.
She
has presented nationally on her educational research and is the
producer of the instructional videos Infancy the Crucible of Instinct,
Empowering Infants and The Empowering of Infants based on her work
in the field of human development and early experiences.
She
is the author of several educational learning guides including Promote
Products and Services, Customer Service and Occupational Health and
Safety, which are used nationally in technical and further education.
As well as her educational and academic writings, Yolanda is the author
of the hauntingly beautiful EMMA
and the Wild and Gentle Celt- A Tasmanian Love Story and The
NUT - a innovative publication promoting one of Tasmania's best
known tourist icons. Rust
Bucket, a short film she produced was selected for the inaugural
Adelaide ‘SHORTS’ Film Festival and received exceptional
reviews at its Australian premiere. In
2001, she received an Award for Educational Excellence for Inspirational
Teaching Practice from the Tasmanian Minister of Education
