Yolanda has the proven ability to develop, motivate and lead teams and individuals to achieve creative and innovative outcomes and reach predetermined goals and objectives.
She is the originator of The Creative Web Method, which is designed to be applied to the implementation and evaluation of programs to stimulate innovation through creative expression and productive outcomes in the management of groups of people of all ages and backgrounds. The system can be tailored to suit the individual needs and goals of specific groups.

She has been recognised nationally and in New Zealand for pioneering work in Child Studies and planning programs for infants. Her Instructional Videos Empowering Infants and Infancy the Crucible of Instinct are being used in TAFE Colleges and Tertiary Institutes in every State and Territory in Australia as well as New Zealand.

Yolanda initiated and co-coordinated The Tullah Peace Book Project This project involved motivating a large number of school and community members to contribute to a book of peace which gained recognition from the then Prime Minister Bob Hawke. Further contributions have been made by high profile state and federal politicians. It was later displayed in the federal parliamentary library and taken to an international children's literacy convention, convened by the United Nations in Russia.

In 2001 Yolanda won an Award for Inspirational Teaching Practice from the Tasmanian Minister for Education.
